This week the Olympic Golf Club hosts the 125th U.S. Amateur Championship. 312 of the worlds best amateur golfers compete for the U.S. Amateur title and exemptions to PGA Tour events. The champion receives a gold medal, the Havemeyer Trophy, & exemptions into PGA Tour events. These events include the next 10 U.S. Amateur Championships, the 2026 U.S. Open, the 2026 Open Championship, and a likely invitation to the 2026 Masters Tournament, according to Golfweek and Amateur Golf. The runner-up will also earn exemptions into the 2026 Masters and U.S. Open.
